Abstract
|
|
|
Cluster headache is the most painful primary headache disorder characterized of extremely painful unilateral
pain attacks with circadian rhythmicity. It has been postulated that melatonin plays a role in the pathophysiology
of cluster headache. We report cases of two episodic cluster headache patients whose headaches were poorly controlled
by the first-line prophylactic medications, and then improved with add-on therapy of melatonin.
